11x14-Oil-Maya was another rescue dog, who was severely injured when she was young. Our long-time friend, Jules, took her in and loved her for many years. As Maya grew older, those old injuries made it difficult for this beautiful girl to get around, but it didn't hamper her desire to please her mom. When it was time for Maya to go, Jules' friends were there with her, giving her and Maya a great deal of love as Maya walked across the Rainbow Bridge. Given as Gift March 2007.

Maya!!!!!!!!!! Yep - she was my-a dog. And a darned good one. She really did do her best to please me. I can't thank you enough for this incredible painting. I LOVE staring at it and memories just wash over me of all the funny and loving things she did.
Thanks Tonja!!!!!
i loved maya. she was so sweet, and it was so funny to brush her in the summer cause with all the hair she lost, it looked like it snowed. this painting is spot on.
